COVID Color Correction, Complete Transformation

COVID did it. We're all guilty. We got bored, we drank some wine, and we thought lets "dye my hair!" Under the influence of anxiety, uncertainty, boredom, and alcohol, we reverted to box dye. Simply because it's all we could get our hands on.

This here was a typical COVID case of a blondie going brunette with box dye. And then desperately regretting it, and tried stripping out the color with color remover leaving her as a ginger. She came to me in hopes that I could do anything, anything at all, to get her back to a normal hair color that she could then soon continue back on her journey to her true blonde self. We went for a natural look with a heavier money piece to give her that pop of blonde feel but not too much.

The process to get there? A full head of back to back sliced foils, alternating one low light every 2-3 highlights. I used a super cool ashy level 6/7 brown to cancel out that red and lifted her with blondme lightener and 7 volume on the whole head. Her hair was already compromised so I wanted to take every necessary precaution to maintain the integrity of the hair and not compromise it any further. Here are the images of the before, during, and after.

Since then we've gotten her back to a level 9, buttery yet icy blonde and she is happy and herself again. Identity crisis averted.
